What does Donna Intera mean?

Donna Intera is an Italian term and translated simply means 'whole woman'. So if you feel a bit broken, down or blue about your self image or your relationships are range of services are designed to help you feel whole again!

About Joanne Robinson

Joanne's passion is to help women break the patterns in romantic relationships that cause them discomfort and pain. She enjoys developing course and programs that equip women and young people with the neccessary life skills to solve common relationship issues so that they can build healthy and whole relationships.

Joanne is a qualified ACC Level 2 Integrative Counsellor (and currently working towards a Degree in Intergrative Counselling). She is a member of the ACC and BACP and abides by their Code of Ethics (ACC Code of Ethics) (BACP Code of Ethics)

She is a qualified Behavioural Life Skills Coach (Canada) and abides by the LCA code of Ethics. She holds a C&G 7303 Teachers Certificate in Adult Learning as well as being a trained faciliator in Career Development (WorkNet, USA) and Obesity Counselling (National Centre for Eating Disorders). She also has 10 years experience of facilitating various workshops on personal development and career guidance and facilitated lifeskills coaching groups to men and women recovering from alcohol and drug misuse. She has delivered training to Teenage Parents and women's groups such as:

A4E Training Providers, Association of Christian Counsellors, WIRE, Chamber of Commerce, Enfield Women's Fellowship, Naree Shakti, Age Concern, JHP Training, Hebron Trust, 4 C.s Counselling Service, Working Links, The Foyer, Curves, Radiomarathon & KIS Training and other counselling centres for women.

Joanne has also appeared regularly on the Woman to Woman Show (Premier Radio) , also Hope FM & BBC Radio, Revelation TV and featured in newspapers and magazines such as Closer, EDP24, Norwich Evening News and Ham & High, as well as being a Case Study and supporter for the Home Office and the 2009 Consultations on Domestic Violence Against Women & Children.

Joanne has also been a speak at various churches and Prisons such as Wandsworth and Wormwood Scrubs, on spiritual development. She is also a Founder Member of Restoring Relationships, a charity set up to empower the Christian commuity to address domestic violence against women.

My passion and purpose is to see women healed from rejection, abuse and the disappointments that result from relationships breaking down. I believe that when women take ownership of their lives and are equipped with the knowledge and skills to make the changes they want, they not only live empowered but everyone in their sphere of influence benefits too. I believe in change and actively promote and seek out ways to bring changes that heal.
